ABSTRACT :
The objective of this thesis is to analyze, design and develop an information system to support the home buyers in selecting their dream home. This will help saving time in collecting housing data from various real estate projects and enable home buyers to obtain houses in accordance with their needs. This system is also beneficial to the service and the administration of real estate business since it can reduce budget and personnel in the business. The design and development of this system is based on the Relational Database Design and Rate and Weight : Linear Additive Scoring Rules. The program has been developed by using Visual Basic 3.0 and has been compiled in such a way so that it can be run on Microsoft Windows 3.1 Thai Edition. The program can be run on microcomputer and can be installed at any places for the benefits of home buyers and real estate business.

ABSTRACT :
The objective of this research is to develop a CASE tool by using Information Strategic Planning (ISP) methodology. ISP is a new, effective method for developing an information system. Not only that ISP can suggest an information system for the organization but it also adds a new dimension by introducing the reorganization of the business. This reorganization is also known as business reengineering. The capabilities of CASE for ISP include : 1. Calculate affinity table. 2. Arrange function in business model by subjectiveness of business expertise staff. 3. Auto arrange information class by using "Northwest" rule or arrange by judgment with affinity analysis table. 4. Group functions and information classes to suggest subsystems. 5. Create relationship between subsystems by diagram to set priorities of the subsystems for the development. CASE for ISP also supports Thai language to serve Thai business environment. This program run under Microsoft Windows, on personal computer.

The purpose of this thesis is to develop the interfacing subsystem to the existing Thai terminal emulation program. The program can work remotely by using Hayes compatible modem. Also the program can work through network with TCP/IP protocol which is standard for computer and communication. The program still operates with Hercules or EGA/VGA video adaptor card using graphic mode and works with RS232C standard. It can operate with network interface card in the microcomputer under packet driver and DOS operating system.

ABSTRACT :
The thesis presents a newborn resuscitation expert system which uses frame representation. Knowledge in the system is taken from the document used in practical training newborn resuscitation at Siriraj hospital in 1990. The system is composed of three important parts. The first part is a part of knowledge base represented by frame. The second is a part of inference engine in frame representation. The third is a part of user interface that be displayed in Thai and English. The system is developed on personal computer (IBM Compatible) 386 DX RAM 5 MB, operating system DOS version 5, Microsoft Windows Thai Edition version 3.1, developed by compiler Borland C++ for Windows version 3.1 and runs under Microsoft Windows version 3.1 up. The result of this development shows that newborn resuscitation expert system prototype by frame representation can be applied in instruction in newborn resuscitation subject and the development of an expert system by frame representation can work well. By the way we can put knowledge in knowledge base completely easily and C++ compiler will manage the part of inference engine in frame representation. The disadvantage is that user cannot add or update knowledge in knowledge base in run time.

ABSTRACT :
This research attempts to use distinctive acoustic features of a set of phonemes for a multispeaker recognition system of hypothetical words created from a selected set of phonemes under study which consists of 21 Thai phonemes. They are 10 consonant phonemes : /p/, /ph/, /d/ /c/, /ch/, /n/, /f/, /s/, /r/ and /w/; 6 vowel phonemes : /i/, /ii/, /a/, /aa/, /u/ and /uu/; and 5 tone phonemes i.e. mid, low, falling, high and rising. The experiment was based on 3 sets of hypothetical words : 1. Set A consists of 24 hypothetical words with initial consonant /p/, and with 6 vowels and 5 tones (5 tones for the 3 long vowels, and 3 tones for the 3 short vowels), used as variables. 2. Set B consists of 50 hypothetical words with initial vowel /aa/, and with 10 consonants and 5 tones, used as variables. 3. Set C consists of 60 hypothetical words with initials low tone, and with 6 vowels and with 10 consonants, used as variables. The experiment was divided into 3 parts. 1. Recognition of the tone phonemes, two acoustic characteristics of F0 i.e. F0 direction and F0 height were investigated with test tokens from 6 speakers of 3 males and 3 females. Recognition rate of 92.3 percent for set A and 97.0 percent for set B are reported. 2. Recognition of the vowel phonemes, three acoustic characteristics of vowel i.e. F1, F2 and vowel duration were investigated with test tokens from 6 speakers of 3 males and 3 females. Recognition rate at 100.0 percent is found in set A and set C. 3. Recognition of the consonants phonemes, seven acoustic characteristics of consonants i.e. zero crossing, extreme high or low amplitude, acoustic energy, noise duration, burst duration, acoustic silence and F2 frequency at the transition zone between consonant and vowel are used to make decision rules. Binary tree structure with test tokens form 2 speakers of 1 male and 3 female is used for consonant recognition. Recognition rate of 99.0 percent for set B and 90.0 percent for set C are reported.

ABSTRACT :
The objective of this thesis is to develop a software for project management, especially for computer software development business. The software can measure the progress of each project and use as a tool to price new projects by analysis from previous projects such as the difference between the sales price and the actual expense. And also people who are in charge in each project can closely take care all their projects to prevent the delay that may happen and to control all expense not to over the budget which is the main problem to this kind of business owner. The design of the software emphasizes on ease of use, not so complexity to get the cooperation of staff in each project to fill out their time schedules correctly. The steps to design are to study and analyse information from a small computer hardware and software support company. Microsoft Access has been used as a tool to develop the software which is running under Window operating system that is system wide to most users. The software lets a user easily search and maintain data and includes a security system to provide data access with different levels due to user authorities in each project. The output document can be used to consider in assigning staff in each project to correspond to the reasonable expense and can be used as a guideline to follow the progress of the project and probably can solve on time unexpected problems that may happen and delay the project.

The purpose of this research is to survey, analyze and design an integrated system for mining business office administration. By the nature of this business, the head office and the plants are located long distance apart. This causes inconvenience and redundant operations. The researcher analysed the current operations and designed a new computerized system. This system is centralized at the head office. The Ban-Pu Coal company limited was taken as a case study. The requirement analysis of all offices of Ban-Pu Coal company limited was carried out. A new system was designed. It composed of : input steps, processing steps, various report forms and file management. A computer system to be used at the head office was also proposed : the operating system, the number of machines, the location of machines and their function. The result is an integrated system for Ban-Pu Coal company limited which will maximum the efficiency of central management.

ABSTRACT :
The objective of this thesis is to study the operation of making appointment using computer instead of telephone that takes too much time to contact in case the person need to contact does not hang around in the Office mostly or is inconvenient to talk on phone because most time is in the meeting room for instance. And because the present day utilities that may help such as Microsoft Schedule + and Microsoft Mail are limited by the nature of Windows for Workgroup that does not allow the none-member to work with. Even though there are some programs in the market can solve this problem but they cost extra expense. The study leads to the program development to allow users to make appointment still using those utilities as mentioned above. With this program running in background, a user can contact people who is a member of a workgroup and works on a communication network even that user is not concerned or not a member of that network. In other words, the user can contact people across the workgroup. The user can specify the method of getting the response after sending making appointment request message : the program on sender side makes a call to get the response or wait for the program on recipient side dials to send back the response. Furthermore the user can choose the period of time to make a call as after 6.00 pm. or after 10.00 pm. to reduce the telephone charge if it is a long distance call and the program will re-make a call after one or two unsuccessful calls. After the third call if it still cannot contact, the program will notice the user the problem. The program lets a user make appointment request across the workgroup by using the Microsoft Schedule + that comes with the Windows for Workgroup operating system and the recipient read and response by using the Microsoft Mail that comes with the Windows for Workgroup operating system as well. So if the user already work on Windows for Workgroup, it is worth to run this program to improve the performance without extra expense.

ABSTRACT :
In many offices, much of the work done on computer was related to word processing and the management of documents. Significant space was taken up on disks of PCs, creating problems with the efficient and secure storage, archiving and retrieval of these data. Therefore, the development of software which allows word processing programs, and CU-Writer in particular, to be used in a PC/mainfra-me environment should be a useful step in solving these problems. A set of programs which resided on the PC initiated the upload or receive the download of files and sent a command to the 3270 emulation software instructing it to establish a connection between PC and mainframe. On the mainframe a set of programs running under CICS which waited for data from the PC and store it in the CICS temporary storage area. The data was transferred from there to a VSAM file. On another hand, these programs would read data from a VSAM file and store it in CICS temporary storage, then waited for a request from the PC to download. Word processing users on the PC could also request the deletion of documents stored on the mainframe. The development of software which allowed transparent CU-Writer on a PC while providing for centralized storage and management of documents on a mainframe, represents an effective solution to a growing problems. The two systems cooperated with each other, the PC provided a user-friendly interface and rapid interactive response time while the mainframe environment provides for ample and secure file management, dependable backups and coordinated control of the documents.

ABSTRACT :
In design and development of an application program for use with the distributed data base on IBM AS/400, normally, an application program developer must control accessing to the data base on IBM AS/400 that connecting in the network. This causes the development of the application program to be troublesome and may be inefficiency in accessing the data base from various systems. The utility programs, therefore, are designed and written by the researcher to assist in using the distributed data base more conveniently. The application program developer can use the service after completed the installation of essential utility programs. For this research, the researcher did the research on IBM AS/400 computer units, models E10 and F10 connecting via telephone lines by using SDLC protocol. The utility programs have been designed and developed to perform two major functions. The first function is to perform database structure reorganization, and the later perform function call services for data base accessing in the network. These programs will simulate functions of distributed data base management system and has the significant properties as follows; Location Transparency, Fragmentation Transparency, Concurrency Control, and Recovery. In addition, the utility programs can also be used with partition data bases, replication distributed data bases, and centralized data base. Especially, the replication data bases, the technique of 2-phase commit protocol is used to insure data base integrity. In testing the utility programs using sample data, it is found that the programs performed the functions in according to the thesis objectives and can reduce the application program development time.

ABSTRACT :
This thesis presents the study of an existing material requirements planning package in a factory case study. The objective is to change some procedures in order to use the existing package appropriately and to make an improvement to this case. The study covers the production process in the factory, features and limitation of the modules in the package, files structure, tables relationship, bill of materials, inventory records, vendor details, purchasing lead time, manufacturing lead time, purchasing and manufacturing procedures. The package can calculate the gross requirements, net requirements and plan orders by using data from bill of materials, inventory status, purchasing lead time, manufacturing lead time and master production schedules. According to the study, we found that by using the existing material requirements planning package, we could decrease the value of quantity on-hand and calculated the requirements of materials faster and more accurate even though there were some changes in the main input data, those are bill of materials, inventory status and master production schedules. We could calculate orders released during each period appropriately. The essential factors which contribute to the accuracy of output were the accuracy of three main input data. The final result from the existing material requirements planning, could decrease the redundancy of data between departments, provide more accurate and timely data, decrease inventory expenses, reduce idle time, improve productivity and increase on-thne shipping performance.

ABSTRACT :
Computer system is a tool for processing many applications. Computer installation management should know the performance all the time in order to tune and upgrade the system which will provide high performance of the system for users. The objective of this thesis is to study parameters selection for a computer system performance evaluation. The study rightly deals with system data statistics which involve in the activies of computer system, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), with NOS/VE operating system. The important part of the thesis is to study the hardware and software configuration, emphasizing on operating system, and the kinds of system data including analysis of the statistic data. Performance parameters such as system attributes, memory attributes, scheduling attributes and system bottleneck which involve with CPU, memory and disk I/O were studied. The system activity data for analyzing CPU, memory and disk I/O performance were collected and used to study system behaviour. The results from the thesis provides parameters selection for improvement of system bottleneck and parameters for tuning BAAC's computer system.

ABSTRACT :
The objective of this research is to analyze and design a loan information system supporting the whole work flow of a loan processing system using a commercial bank as a case study. The current system is used for the account receivable and balance, calculating the loan interest and producing loan reports. The system is redesigned so that it uses information throughout the work flow. The information system structures consists of the following three subsystems. First is the Loan Originating system used for loan preparation and setting up appropriate loan limit. Second is the Loan Servicing system used in legal document printing. The last subsystem is the Loan Collection system used to control and follow up the non-performing loan. As a result, prototypes for three modules consisting of Juristic act, Mortgage Agreements and Loan Collection used in the Loan Servicing and Loan Collection systems were created on a personal computer to illustrate user interfaces of the new system.

ABSTRACT :
The tele-banking system is a system that provides telephone inquiry information services for customers using voice, computer and data communication technology. The customers can make a phone call to access the banking information such as the account balance, the interest rate. Upcountry customers must pay a long distance call to the banking center in Bangkok to access the information. Therefore, this service is not welcomed by those upcountry customers. In this research the distributed tele-banking system is developed to solve the above problem by distributing some of the front end equipments to the regional center. Then the system connects those front end equipments to the tele-banking center in Bangkok through X.25 network. The system has been installed at six distributed locations in upcountry. It allows customer to call those regional centers closer to them to get the same service with lower cost of telephone charge.

The objective of this research is to analyze and develop a database system of the warrant of arrest and criminal operation in poloce station for increasing efficiency   in storing, reporting, searching, and providing thd useful information to the police station. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse, design and develop the Management Information System for the Office of the Rubber Replanting Aid Fund. In designing this system, the primary data that were recorded in the computer system will be used for creating the database of management information system. The primary dataconsists of 6 subsystems that are Replanting Application System, Area Calculate System, Approval System, Individual Replanting Accounts Accounting System, Field Inspector System, Warehouse and Stockist Inventory Control System. There are 22 files, each file belongs to each branch office of which 54 branches. Total files to be processed 1,188 (22*54). An Informix software were utilized in developing the DBMS and it performed on the MINI Computer the designed database will consist of 17 tables and the used area in Hard Disk is approximately 5.6 MByte per year. The said systems are enabled the executives to know the result of the replanning process correctly and rapidly, assist the executives to find out how to control the work efficiently and the received information will finally help the executives in strategic planning.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and design the distributed database for the enrollment system of Rattanakosin United Colleges in Bangkok. They are Rajabhat Institute Bansomdejchaophya, Rajabhat Institute Chantrarakasem, Rajabhat Institute Suan Sunandha, Rajabhat Institute Suan Dusit, Rajabhat Institute Phranakorn, and Rajabhat Institute Thonburi. The anticipated outcome was to enhance the academic cooperation in exploiting the limited resources of the institutes and to facilitale the intercollegiate enrollment which is becoming gradually complicated. The procedure was based on the analysis and design of the relational database. In addition, the data distribution employed the top-down design. The first step was to study the problems in the existing enrollment system. The second step was to create the data modeling of the system. Then the fragment redundancy, the input processing, and the output report were thoroughly investigated. Finally partial simulation of the system design was employed in order to examine the prospective problems and troubles. After testings of the retrieval, updating, concurrency control, and data integrity the design completely fulfilled the study objectives.

ABSTRACT :
Algorithm visualization is a means to study the behavior of how algorithms work by using graphical views and animations of each algorithm in action. This thesis presents an algorithm visualization system for seven sorting algorithms : selection sort, insertion sort, bubble sort, shell sort, quick sort, heap sort, and merge sort. Three presentation views of data are provided. In addition, the initial values of data can be manually or randomly set. The system was developed for running under the Microsoft Windows operating environment by using Dynamic Data Exchange for passing commands among programs and using Multiple Document Interface for presenting graphical views Multiple algorithms can be called and visualized simultaneously for comparison where the algorithms are synchronized, so that relative running times among the algorithms are preserved. Experimental results showed that the system exhibited algorithm behaviors with satisfaction.

The objective of this research is to design and develop the system for collecting and complying the import and export data by converting conventional file to relational database. To develop the database, researcher used Oracle software to improve the import and export database system by analysing the need for the data and the responsibility of the end users in each level. Moveover, thisskystem in designed to be a user- friendly interface by using "windows" and "graphic" technics which make it easy to process for the report. The result can be demonstrated through the computer monitor or hard copy. This development of the import and export database system will accelerate the functions of data analysis and can easily respond to the need of the users. Furthermore, the flexibility of the system makes it more efficient for the users to have the maximum benefit from the data. It is found, from the research, that to develop the basic import and export data compilation to be the database, it is important to consider the output that has an effect on the ER diagram, design which give the fast and accurate data processing. Furthermore, the problem of access data into system must be considered when dealing with the large database management since this can cause the delay of the design. In addition, for client-server processing, computer network that has an appropriate speed is needed in order to work efficiently.

Personnel System development for the Open Database System is an information system for personnel management. The personnel system of the office of the Permanent Secretary, Minitry of Education is used as case study. This system comprises subsystems as follow autobiography, resident, family status,education, traning, special talents, practition, position, annual salary adjustment, promotion, royal honor batch, salary, and discipline. This system was designed to provide the interactive processing program for adding and updating data presently, and batch processing for information reports according to the purposes of administrators. Special reports were provided according to demand of the practitioner and also to present individual reports using transaction files. The experimental result of the personnel system showed that it could work well and satisfy practioners and administrators. Thus, the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Minitry of Education can deploy this personnel system efficiently.

This thesis presents the design and development of a program library to support sprite for Microsoft Windows which facilitates animations. The study in this work includes sprite animation techniques, Microsoft Windows, Dynamic Link Library, and C language. The library consists of the creations of sprites, animation environment, bitmap table, message broadcasting, sprite animation engine, and resource management. The animation engine uses an algorithm for calculating the overlapped areas of sprites by scanning a vertical line through all sprites which is faster than the direct calculation method. The experimental results showed that the speed up is between 42 - 68 percent. In addition, the library is easy to use.

ABSTRACT :
Algorithm visualization is a means to study the behavior of how algorithms work by using graphical views and animations (representing data structures and working status) of an algorithm in action. This thesis presents a design and development of an algorithm visualization for graph theory problems which covers the following undirected graph algorithms : depth first search, breadth first search, Dijkstra's shortest path, and Kruskal's and Prim's minimum spanning tree algorithms. The system providers four visualization view : a view showing graph and changes of its edges, a view showing working progress, a view keeping track of the number of edges being considered, and a view showing depths of the vertices being visited. When experimenting with different graph configuration, the system expressed interesting algorithm behaviors which lead to better understanding of algorithms' pros and cons. The system is developed using Visual Basic and run on Microsoft Windows operating environment.

ABSTRACT :
The purpose of this thesis is to design a database for controlling and analyzing the behavior of juristic persons for the Department of Commercial Registration. The Department of Commercial Registration, Ministry of Commerce has the function to supervise and issue permits for juristic persons for doing business according to the law. The research is divided into 3 parts as follows: study of the juristic persons, the design of the database, and the design of a complete system. To design the database, I proceeded according to logical data modeling and relational data modeling. The designed database has 9 subsystems as follows: System for checking and booking legal entity names, Legal entity registration information, Alien business activities system, Legal entity' s budget system, System to control the issuing of legal entity registrations, Registration fees system, System for generating reference documents, Shareholders system, and Legal entity's status. In designing the complete system, three subsystems are designed, an input subsystem, a processing subsystem, and a report subsystem for terminal and printer. A prototype was also built using Oracle RDBMS on a 80386 machine with X megabyte RAM and 30 megabyte disk space. Test results show that the designed system is able to investigate juristic persons, search, process, and analyze juristic data.

ABSTRACT :
This is a study of utilizing a black-and-white (b/w) image input device to obtain any color image by applying the knowledge of additive color system and color image processing. The main objective was to generate a color image from three sets of intensity data of its primary color components (red, green, and blue -- RGB) which were acquired by capturing color pictures using a b/w image input device with a set of RGB filters applied. The process was performed separately for each filter. Since each selected filter had its own limitation and characteristics, some techniques of image processing, especially histogram modification, were then used to calibrate the data before the color mixing was performed. Furthermore, a software tool for assigning pseudo colors to a gray scale image and a software tool for adjusting brightness and contrast of a color image were developed. This research resulted in a development of Black-and-White to Color (BW2COLOR) software, a software to compose color images with a b/w image input device. The output color images were obtained by capturing color images with a b/w scanner applied with RGB cellophane filters, calibrating data sets with four gray bands on a calibration card, and composing them with the BW2COLOR software. In order to measure the quality of the output color images, a measurement scheme was designed. A software tool to measure color distortions was also developed and used in this research. Five samples of color images resulted from this method were compared to the color images obtained from a color scanner. The results reveal an average normalized mean error (NME) of 20.86% with an average percentage of root mean square error per mean error (e(,rms)ME percentage) of 107.83 percent. This research was supported by National Science and Technology Development Agency. A paper describing this research was published in National Computer Symposium Proceedings, 1994.

This thesis presents the design and development of a 3D image display library for used under Microsoft Windows operating environment. Time-multiplexed stereoscopic is used for displaying a 3D image by alternating the left and right eye projection image on the screen in synchronization with the liquid crystal display shutter glasses. As a result, the viewer bearing the shutter glasses can perceive image depth from the disparity of the left and right images. The 3D image display library utilizes many low-level features of Microsoft Windows which are protection mechanism, memory management, structure of virtual machine, interrupt service routine, and organization and control of Super VGA display card. The 3D library was developed as an installable device driver which can be used at 640x480 and 800x600 screen resolution 16 colors, operating in either standard or enhanced mode in Windows. In addition, an application was developed to demonstrate the use of the 3D library.

ABSTRACT :
The purpose of this thesis is to develop a prototype program to become a tool for vehicle counting on a road. The developed program is supposed to run on a microcomputer under Microsoft Windows in the enhance mode. A Video Blaster Card is used lo convert the video signal from a video cassette recorder into an image data set of YUV format and to be loaded into the computer random-access memory. The design and development of this program covers the design of the user interface, the data structure, and the algorithm of the program. Microsoft Visual C++ is used in the development. The program uses two detection bands across a traffic lane, the reflecting light intensity in each detection band, the distance between the two bands, time recording, and some statistical evaluation of the reflecting light intensity in the process of the vehicle counting and the vehicle speed measurement. Test results indicate that the program is able to determine the count and the average speed of the passing vehicles. The vehicle count determined by the program differs about 5% from the actual count. The speed measurement differs about 1 kilometre per hour from the vehicle speed meter reading at the speed around 50 kilometres per hour.

The objective of this research is to develop the text-conference system on Netware Operating System. This research can help Netware's user to communicate interactively to other Netware's users on Local Area Network. The maximum number of users that can communicate concurrently is 20 and the system supports up to 2 groups of users. The text conference system should convey any message from one user to every one else in the conference group. The communication between each users is peer to peer based using SPX protocol to send and receive message. Message is sent character by character. Each key-stroke typed by each user will be sent promptly to all users in the same conference group. This research will help Netware's users to communicate to others in conference mode. Member of conference group can use his or her workstation in any place to communicate with other members. Furthermore, use-s can use Thai characters and can save messages to file. So,the communication on Local Area Network are more convenience.

ABSTRACT :
Computer System For Sports is one of database system, using athletics, swimming, weighting and shooting as case study. The objective of this research is to manage all of competition cycle, name of Sports person, sport events, event confirmation, result recording, result reporting and result conclusion. Every section in competition cycle in Computer System For Sports can finish their jobs in relatively brief time. From this research, a microcomputer running under Windows and Paradox data management were implemented. It was formed that the screen design, database design, programming could be done easily.

ABSTRACT :
The sub committee for using computer in the higher education institute entranced examination continuously improves the supporting computing systems. An example was introduction of the client-server model of computing to solve problems in the application process. Nevertheless, there were problems on incorrect data input. This was due to the visual display attributes which are unattractive and unlegible. This hampered the data verification by the applicants. These problems resulted in additional resources for data verification and correction in later steps of the entranced examination. Thus, introduction of graphical user-inteface for the client portion of the application system reduces the unattractiveness and increases legibility due to a more flexible layouts and fonts. This enhances the data input of screen which is very rush. Furthermore, this research employs the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) for connectivity between the client and the server.

ABSTRACT :
The purpose of this thesis was to develop a maintenance systems in order to efficiently distributed each cycle of maintenance tasks to workers. The emphasis was analysing and designing a database systems by collecting data which were necessary to plan the maintenance scheduling, facilitated data collecting, inquiry. Including various reports to support the planned operations to be more efficient and up to date. Database design development based on relational database concepts started with analysis of users demand and current data in order to create logical data models then transformed them to relational database. Oracle database package was used as a tool to create and access the database on a microcomputer system. Data was collected from the machinery system of Choapraya War Ship, Thai Navy Base Division at Sataheap, to test the database system.

ABSTRACT :
This study analyses the displaying of CU-Writer control code on ASCII terminal for unix systems. Because displaying CU-Writer control codes on ASCII terminal for unix systems use terminal capabilities, if a terminal has capabilities that match CU-Writer control codes, then use those capabilities. For other CU-Writer control codes which do not match terminal capabilities, other terminal capabilities must be employed. For the rest where there are no suitable capabilities, interpretation and displaying of control codes as normal or displayable sequence on the screen must be enforced to avoid interference of those codes on the terminal display.

ABSTRACT :
The purpose of this thesis is to develop an application software assisting bus passenger selecting their best possible bus routes. The software suggests the shortest route as well as fewest bus transfers from one point to another with the flexibility of adjusting the desired or undesired route caused by traffic jam. This software allows the user to identify the start, destination and desired or undesired spots on the map, or by name of the places. The name of the places are classified into five groups ; important place, hotel, hospital, police station and department store. In addition, the program package is beneficial to authorities who want to update the traffic routing data. Information such as places and bus routes can be added, deleted or moved. Symbol of important places can also be changed. The map can be modified whenever the area of the town is adjusted, or it can be replaced by another map. Moreover, the program package can zoom in a particular area of the map so that the user can see its details and use the software more accurately. The program package has been tested and evaluated using Metropolis of Bangkok as a case study.

This thesis presents the design and hypothesis to analyze the performance of the University Entrance Examination application system. The thesis purpose is twofold. First, it could be an example to analyze the performance of other application systems. Second, it would help the new officers to understand more about the University Entrance Examination application system and be able to improve it. The performance analysis was concentrated on 3 main procedures of the University Entrance Examination application system. 1. Getting student records procedure. 2. Examination rooms preparing procedure. 3. Examination seat numbers validating procedure. The performance analysis of the University Entrance Examination application system show that the system ran smoothly and finished in time.

ABSTRACT :
The objective or this research is to develope tree data structure objects for Visual Basic. These objects are Binary Tree, Binary Search Tree and Height Balanced Tree. They have all important properties of the data structure and appropriate methods and events. They can be programmed to run with other objects. The restriction of these three objects are the maximum number of their nodes is 1,023 and their heights must be less than oe equal to nine levels. Data type of all nodes can be either strings or integer. These objects not only help reduce complication and tire in developing applications but also be useful to demonstrate a clearly animated manipulation of a tree data stricture by using these objects.

The unix system is the multiuser operating system. Each user has his own login name and real name including some private data collected in the user information database of the system. Finger program is a utility program in general unix system used for inquiry about this user information. This research objective is to develop the methodology on extension of the finger program enabling the inquiry to be more convenience and extensive without effecting the original finger program capability. This research presented the development on finger server Program, inquiry format, creation of addition user information database, help system and the addition on other information services. ABSTRACT :
This research is to design a database and to develop an information system to support freight calculation for bulk carrier vessels. The System calculates the estimate of freight using data in the database. After the voyage is completed, user can input the actual information to adjust the database in order to improve the quality of estimate. Since the vessel operates on a continual basis, there must be a way to finish each trip in order to calculate cost occurred in each trip. So, the researcher develops the finishing of a round voyage system to define a round voyage. This can be used in case of both regular operation as well as ballast trip to show profit and losses of that particular voyage. Moreover, This information system covers port information of THAILAND, MALAYSIA, INDONESIA, PHILIPPINES, SINGAPORE, JANPAN and VIETNAM. This research found that the port expenditure varies from one to another. It may be defined by weight of the vessel, length, place of service, or as period of the service (hour, day), and the method of charging may be changed at time.

ABSTRACT :
The purpose of this thesis is to design and develop a material requirement planning system for a job shop production factory. The system is divided into five subsystems ; the inventory control subsystem, the bill of material subsystem, the material requirement processing subsystem, the purchase control subsystem and the work order control subsystem. These subsystems are separately designed with subsystem linkage for linking to other system. Researcher designed input and output format that user can interface the system by using pop-up menu which consist of seven menus and twenty-three reports. The result of reports can be selected for display on screen or printer. All of them are acceptable. The material requirement planning system for a job shop production factory prototype was developed using Clipper relational database management system under DOS operating system. The prototype was tested and the result is satisfied.

ABSTRACT :
The objective of this research is to develop a cephalometric analysis software that is appropriately used in orthodontic treatment process for Thai. The cephalometric analysis software is able to receive the location data from cephlometric radiograph using tablet. The characteristic of digitized skull data is consequently analyzed and the results should be presents in both graphical image and statistical data. Moreover the forecast of the change in skull should be simulated in both by surgery and by growth using Rickettes predict method. The analysis result from cephalometric analysis software was tested by the paired t-test. It is found that there is no difference from analysis result using manual method at the 0.05 significant level.
