Building Quantum Computers

public talk in occassion of my retirement, 60th year lecture

Quantum computing is the most exciting field at the moment.  The paradigm promises two things:  solving the problems that cannot be solved by today's computers, and computers that are much faster than what is possible today.  However, although the past research shows promise, but there is no practical quantum computer yet to be shown.  In this talk, I will review potential technology that can be used to build quantum computers and show a small example how I write quantum program to solve one problem.
