Preliminary Study of Distributed Genetic Algorithms for Robot Control

Abstract

This paper presents Distributed Genetic Algorithms.  It aims to achieve solutions which are different but can collaborate in solving problems.  The experiment is conducted on the problem of robot learning that learn how to move within the desinated area.  The result from the simulation shows that the solutions produced by Distributed Genetic Algorithms are different from the ones produced by Classical Genetic Algorithms.
