Call for Special Sessions
The JCSSE 2026 Organizing Committee invites proposals for Special Sessions in intelligent computing, software engineering, and related emerging topics. Special sessions aim to highlight innovative research and stimulate focused discussion on cutting-edge or non-traditional themes.
Proposal Requirements
Each proposal should include:
Session title
Organizer names, affiliations, short bios, and contact details
Session abstract describing significance and motivation
At least 5 committed papers, each with a tentative title, authors, and short abstract (no author
may appear on more than two papers)
In-person presentation of all accepted papers. There must be one author for each accepted
paper available to present it in person.
Evaluation
Proposals will be assessed based on topic relevance and timeliness, quality and number of committed papers, and organizer qualifications. Approved sessions will be listed as tracks for paper submission. All papers will undergo standard peer review with agreement from the approved special session chairs and/or the conference technical program chairs.
