ทีม “takekoputa” จาก หลักสูตรวิศวกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ (หลักสูตรปกติ / CP) คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ประสบความสำเร็จอย่างยอดเยี่ยมระดับนานาชาติ ด้วยการคว้าอันดับที่ 4 ของโลก ในการแข่งขัน IEEEXtreme 19.0 ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในการแข่งขันเขียนโปรแกรมมาราธอน 24 ชั่วโมงที่ท้าทายและได้รับการยกย่องมากที่สุดในวงการวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์โลก การแข่งขันจัดขึ้นโดย IEEE เมื่อวันที่ 21 เมษายน 2569 มีผู้เข้าแข่งขันกว่า 18,500 คน จากมากกว่า 8,000 ทีม สังกัดสถาบันการศึกษา 857 แห่ง ในกว่า 60 ประเทศทั่วโลก ผู้แข่งขันต้องแก้โจทย์อัลกอริทึมซับซ้อนภายใต้ข้อจำกัดเวลาอย่างเข้มงวดตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง

นิสิตทั้งสามเป็นนิสิตชั้นปีที่ 3 จาก หลักสูตรวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ (CP) ซึ่งเป็นหลักสูตรปกติระยะเวลา 4 ปี ที่มีมาตรฐานการเข้าเรียนสูงที่สุดของภาควิชา โดยมุ่งเน้นการสร้างพื้นฐานที่แข็งแกร่งทั้งด้านทฤษฎีและปฏิบัติในวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์
ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงสะท้อนถึงศักยภาพอันโดดเด่นของนิสิตจุฬาฯ ในการแก้ปัญหาที่ซับซ้อนภายใต้ความกดดันสูง แต่ยังยืนยันคุณภาพการศึกษาของหลักสูตรปกติ (CP) ในการผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีความพร้อมสำหรับเวทีการแข่งขันและอุตสาหกรรมระดับโลก

Chulalongkorn University’s Computer Engineering (CP) Team “takekoputa” Ranks 4th in the World at IEEEXtreme 19.0 Bangkok, June 2, 2026 The team “takekoputa” from the Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering (Regular Program / CP), Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, has achieved global recognition by securing 4th place worldwide in IEEEXtreme 19.0, one of the most prestigious and rigorous 24-hour programming competitions in the world.
The competition, organized by IEEE on April 21, 2026, attracted over 18,500 participants from more than 8,000 teams representing 857 institutions across over 60 countries. Participants faced highly complex algorithmic challenges under strict time constraints throughout the 24-hour period.

All three are third-year students in the Computer Engineering Regular Program (CP) — the flagship four-year undergraduate program of the department, renowned for its highly competitive admission standards and comprehensive training in both theoretical and practical computer engineering. This remarkable achievement demonstrates the exceptional problem-solving abilities of Chulalongkorn students under extreme pressure, while reinforcing the academic excellence of the Regular Computer Engineering Program (CP) in preparing graduates for global technological challenges.
